FAQ
Answers to common questions.
How current are the stats?
Lookups pull live data when you run a command. Charts and aura counts are aggregated periodically, so very recent finds may not appear until the next aggregation cycle.
Why can't I find a user?
The user may have set their stats found to private, may not have rolled any global auras, or may be searched under a stale Roblox username. Try searching by Roblox user ID instead.
Why does a lookup work with a Roblox username but not with the discord_user option?
The discord_user option resolves a Discord account to a Roblox account through RoVer, and RoVer keeps privacy preferences per server. By default third-party bots aren't allowed to read your link, so Sol's Stat Tracker gets nothing back even though the same player resolves fine by Roblox username or user ID.
To allow it, in a server that has both RoVer and Sol's Stat Tracker:
- Run
/privacy, which is RoVer's own command, not ours. - In the Privacy preferences window, tick Other bots in [server name], described as "Lets third-party bots in this server see your account."
- Press Submit, then run the lookup again.
These preferences apply only to the server you ran /privacy in, so repeat this in each server where you want Discord user lookups to resolve you.
What is the difference between a DM follow and a server follow?
A DM follow is personal to you and delivered to your DMs. A server follow is shared across a server and delivered to a channel an admin configured with /follow server set_channel.
Do follows DM me forever?
Until you remove them. Run /follow dm list to see who you're following and /follow dm remove to unsubscribe.
Can I use the bot in DMs without installing it on a server?
Yes. Use the user install. The bot's commands will be available to you anywhere on Discord that allows user-installed apps.
Why does the bot say "You can only use this command on a server"?
The /follow server commands need to be run inside a server the bot is actually a member of. If you only added Sol's Stat Tracker as a user app, its commands follow you around Discord, but the bot itself isn't in the server, so those commands have no server to act on.
The fix is to also add the bot to the server itself. You need the Manage Server permission in that server, or ask an admin to do it:
- Open the bot invite link.
- Choose Add to Server and pick the server from the dropdown.
- Approve the requested permissions and finish the prompt.
- Run the command again in that server.
Keeping both installs is fine, they aren't mutually exclusive. See Install App for the difference between the two.
Why does my "Total Global Luck" seem low?
Luck wasn't recorded for older stats found in our system. Only stats found saved after luck tracking was added count toward your total.
Why doesn't my Roblox username or user ID autocomplete for commands?
If neither autocompletes, you have no stats found saved in our database yet. The autocomplete for your Roblox username comes from your last stat found, so it won't update until your next stat found is saved.
Why is my "Most Common Aura" incorrect?
The Stat Tracker started tracking globals on March 1, 2025, so any globals rolled before that day don't count. Native auras like Radiant, Impeached, Bloodlust, Atlas, and Gargantua don't display on the Stat Tracker and don't count either. Related to the /totalstatsfound command.
Why is my "Total Global Auras" not the same as my aura storage?
The Stat Tracker started tracking globals on March 1, 2025, so any globals rolled before that day don't count. Native auras like Radiant, Impeached, Bloodlust, Atlas, and Gargantua don't display on the Stat Tracker and don't count either. Related to the /totalstatsfound command.
Why does my Roblox username not show my stats found even though I have globals?
The Stat Tracker started tracking globals on March 1, 2025, so any globals rolled before that day don't count. Native auras like Radiant, Impeached, Bloodlust, Atlas, and Gargantua don't display on the Stat Tracker and don't count either. Related to the /profile and /statsfound commands.
