Follows
Subscribe to a player and get a notification whenever they record a new stat. You can follow users in two scopes:
DM follows
Personal subscriptions delivered to your DMs. Manage them with:
/follow dm listshows who you're following./follow dm addstarts following a user./follow dm removestops following a user.
Server follows
Server-wide subscriptions delivered to a channel of your choice. A server manager with Manage Server permissions should pick a channel first with /follow server set_channel.
/follow server set_channelsets the notification channel./follow server get_channelshows the channel notifications are currently sent to./follow server delete_channelremoves the configured channel./follow server addstarts following a user server-wide./follow server removestops following a user server-wide./follow server listshows who the server is following.
Notification filters
By default you're notified for every global aura a followed user discovers. A filter narrows that down. Both scopes have the same three subcommands:
/follow dm set_filterand/follow server set_filterchange the filter./follow dm get_filterand/follow server get_filtershow the current filter./follow dm delete_filterand/follow server delete_filterclear the filter, so you go back to receiving every global aura.
A filter applies to the whole scope, not to a single user, and the server filter needs Manage Server permissions like the rest of /follow server.
set_filter takes these options:
min_rarityandmax_rarityonly notify you for auras within a rarity range.min_luckandmax_luckonly notify you for auras rolled within a luck range.challengedincludes or excludes Challenged auras.challenged_plusincludes or excludes Challenged+ auras.
Every option is optional. You only need to enter the ones you want to change, and the rest of your filter stays as it is. For example, /follow dm set_filter min_rarity:100000000 only sends you a DM for auras that are 1 in 100,000,000 or rarer.
Challenged and Challenged+ auras ignore the rarity and luck ranges. They're always included unless you set challenged or challenged_plus to False in your filter.
Role mentions
A server can ping a role with every server follow notification. These subcommands need Manage Server permissions:
/follow server set_rolesets the role to mention./follow server get_roleshows the role currently being mentioned./follow server delete_rolestops mentioning a role.
Role mentions are server-only, DM follow notifications have no equivalent.
Why can't I follow a user?
The user may not have rolled a global aura yet, users can only be followed once they have at least one recorded global aura.
